“Negotiations with John Charlesworth of the Little Valley Speedway (www.LittleValleySpeedway,com) and Dean Hoag of Black Rock Speedway (www.BlackRockSpeedway.com) have just been completed and all of us here at Dart Machinery are excited about the program,” shared Ted Keating, Dart Vice President.
“After last years very successful Dart BRP CanAm Challenge we knew we wanted a similar program for 2011. I have never been to Little Valley Speedway, but all reports are that Charlesworth and the Cattaraugus County Fair Directors have an outstanding facility with a strong racing program. We believe that the Dart Challenge will be a great addition to their 2011 racing season. Dart worked with Dean Hoag and Black Rock Speedway on the Challenge program last year and that was a great success. We expect the 2011 Dart BRP CanAm Late Model Challenge to even better.”
The six event Dart Challenge will again offer a $7000 point fund. The top ten drivers will share $3000 cash and then random drawings for a Dart engine block and a set of Dart heads for the top ten and any others that compete in all six events.
Dates for the 2011 Dart Challenge at Black Rock are Friday June 3, Friday July 22, and Friday August 26. The Little Valley dates are Friday June 10, Friday July 15, and Sunday September 4. The July 15 event promises to be a giant gala affair since it will be the 100th tour event of the BRP CanAm Series and 9th annual Brock Young Memorial.
