2012 Empire 100 Rules

The 2012 Empire 100 rules are as follows:

Base rules will follow BLACKROCK SPEEDWAY STREET STOCK RULES.

The tire rule will be American Racer 26.5/8.0-15DT, 27.5/8.0-15DT, or Hoosier #'s #36149 and #36155 or the 245/70/15 American Racer tire - or other manufactured tires up to 8" max. width as marked on sidewall with 8'' Max. steel wheels. - Grooving, grinding and siping is allowed - NO chemical treating - NO wide five Rims or hubs and the Min. weight will be 3000lb.s across the board.

Weight as follows: 3000 .lbs.

2800 .lbs with crate motor. Crate motors must follow DIRT 602 engine rules.

3200 .lbs with 400 and 1 11/16” restrictor plate.

Open hood scoops and rear spoilers WILL be allowed.

BUMPERS

This will be closely monitored. Rear bumpers will NOT be allowed to have any sharp edges or open ends. All bumpers will be checked by tech. You will be expected to make changes to your rear bumper if track tech feels changes need to be made. There will be personnel at the track with welder and torches to make any repairs or changes. BRS does not govern cost for these repairs)

Any and all exposed bolts that could cut a tire will need to be carriage type bolts.
